LAS VEGAS, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Peaches Geldof's publicist said the 19-year-old daughter of rocker Bob Geldof has married her boyfriend Max Drummey in Las Vegas.

A statement issued to People magazine Tuesday by Geldof's representative described last week's wedding as a "quiet, low-key ceremony."

"Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends," the statement said. "Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts."

"Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage," said a separate statement released to People by Drummey's publicist.

Geldof is a British model, disc jockey and reality television personality. Drummey is half of the U.S. pop duo Chester French.
