LONDON, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- A martial arts school owner and fitness trainer in England reportedly is suing Tito Jackson, the brother of pop singer Michael Jackson, over an unpaid debt.

The Sun newspaper said Matt Fiddes has taken legal action against Tito Jackson, a former member of the Jackson Five, because he allegedly borrowed $24,000 and only paid back $17,000.

Fiddes lent Jackson the money for expenses and airfare from the United States to the United Kingdom when he and other members of his family visited England this year, the newspaper said.

Fiddes' attorney, Nicholas Richards, told The Sun the claim was filed Monday and "the presumption is it will lead to a trial unless there is a court settlement along the way."
