LONDON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Director Alexander Dahm traveled 6,000 miles to catch a London performance of his occasional love interest, singer Kylie Minogue, a friend says.

The unidentified friend of the couple said the film director has maintained close ties to the "Body Language" singer during her ongoing tour and traveled to meet up with her at London's O2 Arena, The Mirror reports.

Friday's concert marked the second time during the last five months Dahm has traveled to meet his on-again-off-again love interest.

The married father-of-two traveled to London in March to spend six days with the 40-year-old singer, the Mirror said.

The newspaper said Dahm initially met Minogue in January while filming in Acapulco, Mexico. Minogue had been in Mexico modeling bikinis.
