2 Snoop Dogg pals arrested for pot

HOUSTON, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Two members of hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg's entourage reportedly were arrested in Texas for alleged possession of marijuana.

Police told TMZ they pulled over the rap star's tour bus for expired license plates, detected the smell of pot and allegedly found 2 ounces of marijuana.

Two men, who admitted the cannabis was theirs, were arrested and booked into the Navarro County Jail.

Snoop Dogg was on the bus at the time of Thursday's incident but wasn't arrested, TMZ said.
