LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) -- Canadian actress Rachel McAdams turned up for her ex-boyfriend Ryan Gosling's disc jockey debut at a Hollywood club this week.

The former couple co-starred in the 2004 big-screen romance "The Notebook," dated for a while, then broke up in 2007.

People.com quoted a friend of Gosling's as saying McAdams went to the Green Door lounge Tuesday night to support her former beau as he spun discs from the 1940s and 1950s for the club's jazz night.

"They talked when he was away from the deejay stand," the friend told People.com. "They really looked like good pals. He seemed happy to see her."

Movie stars Catherine Keener and Shane West, as well as hockey player Sean Avery, were also on hand for the event, the entertainment news Web site said.
