LONDON, July 30 (UPI) -- Lydia Hearst reportedly has been hired as a model by the British lingerie company Myla.

The Daily Telegraph said the 23-year-old model, who has appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue, was recently photographed for Myla's autumn-winter collection of silk and satin underwear.

Hearst is the daughter of Patty Hearst, who was famously kidnapped when she was 19 by members of the Symbionese Liberation Army in 1974. She claimed she was brainwashed into helping the urban guerrilla group and spent time in prison for her role in a bank robbery staged by SLA members.

Hearst's father was Patty Hearst's former bodyguard, Bernard Shaw, and her great-grandfather, William Randolph Hearst, was the publishing tycoon who inspired Orson Welles's classic film "Citizen Kane," The Telegraph noted.
