NEW YORK, July 27 (UPI) -- Actress-singer Lindsay Lohan escaped injury when she was sideswiped by a motorcycle on a New York street, her father said.

Michael Lohan told Saturday's New York Post his daughter was hit outside a New York nightclub Friday night. She went to a local hospital where she was treated and released.

"She's not hurt. That's all I really care about," the elder Lohan said.
