WESTBURY, N.Y., July 25 (UPI) -- Famed 1960s pop singer Connie Francis was hospitalized for high blood pressure this week and had to cancel a performance with singer Neil Sedaka in New York.
Francis, 69, was scheduled to perform with Sedaka at The Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury Wednesday night, but instead was admitted to Long Island Jewish Medical Center's coronary care unit with dangerously high blood pressure, Newsday reported.
