BURBANK, Calif., July 25 (UPI) -- Some of Disney Channel's biggest stars are teaming up with the Muppets for "Studio DC: Almost Live," a new U.S. special to air next month, the network said.

Slated to appear are human celebrities Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song and Phill Lewis, as well as famous Muppets like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear.

The half-hour, music-filled sketch comedy show is to premiere Aug. 3 on Disney Channel.

Dylan and Cole Sprouse are to act as hosts of the special, which will feature a comedy sketch with Billy Ray Cyrus introducing his daughter, Miley, to the Muppets' Electric Mayhem Band.

Miss Piggy will be seen casting herself as the Jonas sister, then performing with the Jonas Brothers band, while Kermit the Frog lives out his dream of singing "Bop to the Top" from "High School Musical" with Tisdale.

Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo also will drop by the Tipton Hotel, the setting of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," Disney Channel said.
