LONDON, July 24 (UPI) -- Sienna Miller's lawyers say the film actress is suing the photo agency Big Pictures and publisher News International for invading her privacy.
News International publishes The News of the World and The Sun newspapers, which ran photos of a barely dressed Miller kissing her married new boyfriend, TV actor Balthazar Getty.
Getty issued a statement this week explaining he and Rosetta, his wife of eight years and the mother of his four children, had separated. He made the statement shortly after pictures of him with Miller were published.
Friends of Rosetta insist she and her husband were still together when he started dating Miller, who was born in New York City and raised in England.
People.com said Miller's attorneys have filed a breach of privacy lawsuit against Big Pictures and News International in London's High Court on Miller's behalf.
Miller previously won a judgment of about $75,000 from The Sun and The News of the World for publishing "highly intrusive" photos of her while she was filming her upcoming movie, "Hippie Hippie Shake."
Rep: Mindy McCready is in rehab
NASHVILLE, July 24 (UPI) -- Mindy McCready's publicist said the U.S. country music singer has checked herself into rehab.
The New York newspaper Daily News said Wednesday the troubled recording artist had suffered a nervous breakdown, while TMZ.com reported McCready had entered an Arizona rehabilitation center after allegedly mixing vodka and Ambien in an apparent suicide attempt.
Usmagazine.com said McCready went to rehab after being treated for an emergency visit to a Nashville hospital.
"Mindy McCready did receive emergency care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center," the singer's representative told Usmagazine.com. "Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer term and broader based treatment. ... To her credit, she has entered into an extended care facility where she will receive the care needed and for the moment we ask that everyone respect her privacy."
McCready was jailed last year for five months for violating her probation in a 2004 drug case.
Bale attends Spanish 'Knight' premiere
BARCELONA, Spain, July 24 (UPI) -- Actor Christian Bale attended the Barcelona, Spain, premiere of his new film "The Dark Knight," a day after he was arrested for alleged assault.
Bale was arrested Tuesday in London after his mother and sister filed an assault complaint in connection with an incident that allegedly took place Sunday night at the Dorchester Hotel.
Bale, who has denied the allegations, was ordered to appear at a London police station in September pending further inquiries.
The BBC said the Welsh-born actor spent about 30 minutes Wednesday night signing autographs for fans at the Spanish premiere of his latest movie, which is a blockbuster in the United States.
Although he declined to comment on his recent family and legal troubles, Bale smiled and appeared relaxed before the film was shown, the BBC said.
Source: Ashanti, Nelly still together
LOS ANGELES, July 24 (UPI) -- Recording artists Nelly and Ashanti are still a couple, a source says, despite a U.S. newspaper report claiming they had broken up.
"(They) are definitely very much still together," a source close to the couple told Usmagazine.com.
A report in New York's Daily News said that Nelly and Ashanti, who reportedly have been dating for about five years, recently split up.
"I'm dating my new album and no one else," the newspaper quoted Ashanti as saying.
However, the insider told Usmagazine.com Ashanti was misquoted in the Daily News article and that she and Nelly are still an item.
