BURBANK, Calif., July 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. rock band Plain White T's is finishing up its latest album, "Big Bad World," which is set for release in September, Hollywood Records announced.

The follow-up to the band's platinum-plus-selling breakthrough set, "Every Second Counts," is scheduled for release Sept. 23, the record label said.

The Chicago quintet is also expected to support its new CD with a North American arena tour in the fall. Tour dates are to be announced shortly, Hollywood Records said, adding the first single off the new album will be "Natural Disaster."

Fans can watch footage of the band making "World" through a 12-Webisode series called "Meet Me In California," which is to premiere next Wednesday on abcfamily.com.
