59TH PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS

BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., July 22 (UPI) -- NBC said it has adjusted its U.S. prime time premiere fall schedule and used strong time periods to bring back "Life" and introduce "My Own Worst Enemy."

The network said "Life" will get four hours of originals in its first two weeks on Mondays and Fridays beginning Sept. 29, while "My Own Worst Enemy" is to follow "Heroes" Oct. 13, giving the show a prominent launch after a hit series and allowing the new drama to broadcast all original episodes in its regular time slot, which is Mondays, from 10-11 p.m. ET, through December.

"Life" is to follow "Heroes" on two special Monday broadcasts in addition to its regularly scheduled time slot on Fridays from 10-11 p.m. ET.

In other scheduling changes, the new comedy "Kath & Kim" and "30 Rock" are to switch time periods Thursday nights. "Kath & Kim" moves to 8:30-9 p.m. ET starting Oct. 9 after "My Name is Earl," which will allow for a strong audience flow for these two compatible shows, NBC said.

"30 Rock" will then settle into the 9:30-10 p.m. ET slot, starting with its season premiere after "The Office" Oct. 30.
