THIMPHU, Bhutan, July 22 (UPI) -- Hong Kong film stars Tony Leung and Carina Lau reportedly have married in a Buddhist-inspired ceremony in Bhutan.

Leung has starred in the movies "In The Mood for Love" and "Lust, Caution," while Lau has appeared in "Ashes of Time" and "2046."

The longtime couple co-starred in the 2002 film "Infernal Affairs," which was the basis for Martin Scorsese's 2006 Boston-set remake "The Departed."

The BBC said film director Wong Kar-Wai was among the guests who attended Leung and Lau's wedding, which was presided over by local monks.
