'Plain Sight' renewed for Season 2

LOS ANGELES, July 21 (UPI) -- The USA Network says it has ordered 16 episodes of the drama series "In Plain Sight" for a second season.

Mary McCormack, who has appeared on the TV show "The West Wing" and in the movie "Private Parts," is to return as the main character in "Sight" for the show's sophomore season.

McCormack plays Mary Shannon, a U.S. marshal working to relocate and protect people as part of the witness protection program.

Created and written by Executive Producer David Maples, the series is to start production in October and will once again be shot entirely on location in and around Albuquerque, the network said.
