LAKE WORTH, Fla., July 20 (UPI) -- A 65-year-old Florida man won a $2,029,595 jackpot playing quarter slots at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, site officials say.

"This is by the far the largest jackpot that South Florida has ever done," Casino General Manager Steve Bonner said. "We're becoming known for quite a few large jackpots."

The Lake Worth retiree asked to remain anonymous, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Sunday.

The man had been playing a Las Vegas-style slot machine that was tied to similar slot machines nationwide, which allows for higher winnings at greater odds.

The Sun-Sentinel said the man must now decide whether to collect his winnings in one lump sum or divided into 25 separate payouts.
