LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Verne Troyer has dropped his lawsuit over a sex tape after the suit's defendants agreed not to market the video, his attorney says.

Attorney Edwin F. McPherson said Troyer, who played the villain Mini Me in the "Austin Powers" comedies, has ended his litigation against a celebrity sex-tape broker and an adult film distributor, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

"We got what we wanted: a permanent injunction," McPherson said of Friday's agreement.

Troyer made the sex video with a now former girlfriend, Ranae Shrider.

The settlement means broker Kevin Blatt and distributor SugarDVD will not be able to distribute the video without the actor's permission.

The attorney said his client, who also dropped a related lawsuit against TMZ.com for featuring portions of the video, would never agree to have the explicit video sold to the general public.
