NICE, France, July 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie checked out of a hospital in the French city of Nice Saturday, a week after giving birth to twins, a hospital spokesman says.

The unidentified spokesman said the "Wanted" star left Fondation Lenval Hospital where she had been receiving post-natal care after giving birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The twins, who were born on July 12, will join Jolie's family with her boyfriend, actor Brad Pitt. The celebrity couple already had four children, Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3 and Shiloh, 2.

The Telegraph said an unidentified U.S. publication has already paid $11 million, the proceeds of which will be donated to charity, to publish the first photographs of the couple's twin newborns.
