LOS ANGELES, July 17 (UPI) -- Mena Suvari's publicist has confirmed the Hollywood actress is engaged to music producer and concert promoter Simone Sestito.

Suvari, 29, has starred in the films "American Pie," "American Beauty" and "Stuck." She was married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann from 2000-05.

The actress' representatives told People magazine Sestito proposed to her during a recent vacation to Jamaica.

"They're taking their time planning the wedding," a source close to the starlet told the weekly. "They are in no rush."

Suvari reportedly met Sestito at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall.
