Comedian Andy Dick arrested

MURRIETA, Calif., July 16 (UPI) -- Comedian Andy Dick was arrested for sexual battery Wednesday in Murrieta, Calif. after he allegedly fondled the breasts of a 17-year-old girl, TMZ reported.

The 42-year-old performer also was charged with suspicion of drug possession after police said they found marijuana and a Xanax tablet in his pants pocket, the entertainment news Web site reported.

Dick was arrested at 2 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot near a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant after police responded to a complaint that somebody was urinating in the eatery's parking lot and causing a disturbance.

Police said they found Dick in the passenger seat of a van when they arrived and arrested him for allegedly pulling a teen's shirt down and touching her breasts.

Dick, a stand-up comedian best known for his roles in the TV sit-coms "Less than Perfect" and "NewsRadio," was held on $5,000 bail, TMZ said.
