

LAS VEGAS, July 12 (UPI) -- Pop star Michael Jackson appeared "frail" and "gaunt" during an appearance in Las Vegas with his three children, a photographer says.
Photographer Mike Lopez said the so-called King of Pop looked to be in poor health while shopping at a Las Vegas bookstore this week, The New York Daily News said Friday.
"He looks really frail," Lopez said of the 49-year-old singer. "His skin was peeling and... he looks so thin and gaunt."
"He didn't look well," he added.
Jackson was wearing pajamas during Monday's outing and was being pushed in a wheelchair by his children, Prince I, 11; daughter Paris, 10; and Prince II, 6, Lopez said.
The Daily News said the only health issue the "Thriller" star has confirmed was a skin condition that forces him to remained covered as a precaution.
