LOS ANGELES, July 9 (UPI) -- The Weinstein Co. reportedly will co-finance Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino's latest movie, as well as distribute it domestically and oversee production.

The Hollywood Reporter said the studio will also handle worldwide marketing duties for "Inglorious Bastards," a World War II action film scheduled to start shooting in Europe in October.

Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who previously ran Miramax, have worked on writer-director Tarantino's past films "Reservoir Dogs," "Pulp Fiction," "Jackie Brown" and "Kill Bill."

The entertainment industry trade paper said the Weinsteins are looking to team up with a major studio to co-finance Tarantino's latest film in exchange for foreign rights.

The movie has not yet been cast, The Hollywood Reporter said.
