LOS ANGELES, July 9 (UPI) -- Irish actor Colin Farrell reportedly left an apologetic note with his contact information on a vehicle he hit with his car in a Hollywood parking lot.

TMZ.com posted on its Web site Wednesday a copy of the note Farrell apparently left on the damaged car.

It reads: "Did a bad thing. Deepest apologies. Of course my insurance will cover it. Mobile phone number 310-... Again, regrets. Colin Farrell."

Farrell is best known for his roles in "Daredevil," "Phone Booth," "Minority Report," "Alexander," "Cassandra's Dream" and "In Bruges."
