Nick Cannon calls marriage 'amazing'

LAS VEGAS, July 7 (UPI) -- U.S. actor and recording artist Nick Cannon said being married to singer Mariah Carey is "amazing."

The couple wed in May after a brief courtship.

Cannon told People magazine while he was in Las Vegas that his marriage is "amazing," a statement that seems to contradict Internet rumors claiming the relationship is in trouble.

"It's the best thing that ever happened to me," Cannon told the magazine of his marriage to Carey.
