State Police 1st Lt. Dave Roesler said despite the sizable crowd, the four-day festival has been a relatively safe affair when compared to similar music festivals, the Detroit Free Press reported Sunday.
"We're not experiencing any big differences from what you'd expect with events of this size," Roesler said.
Chicago resident Alex Vroustouris, 24, said he was enjoying the festival, which started Thursday, where he had a chance to watch bands such as the Dave Matthews Band, Primus and the Black Keys.
"It's different every time -- you'll see something done in a way you haven't seen before," he told the Free Press.
