NEW YORK, July 3 (UPI) -- Actress Rose McGowan and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez are still engaged and planning to work on three Hollywood movies together, sources told People magazine.
Recent media reports said the couple -- who met on the set of the 2006 flick "Planet Terror" and who announced their engagement in October 2007 -- had split up, leaving the future of several upcoming collaborations up in the air.
McGowan, best known for her work on the TV series "Charmed," is set to star in "Barbarella," "Red Sonja" and "Woman in Chains!" -- three films her fiance is to direct and/or produce.
"The production of all three films is moving forward with Rose to star," McGowan's publicist told People magazine.
A source close to the actress denied the couple had called off their engagement, insisting, "She and Robert are fine."
