GLASTONBURY, England, June 30 (UPI) -- British soul singer Amy Winehouse used a crude, four-letter word to describe U.S. hip-hop artist Kanye West during her set at the Glastonbury music festival.

Winehouse has long been making headlines for her erratic behavior and addiction to drugs. She was hospitalized this month and reportedly underwent treatment for the early stages of emphysema.

"Imagine if it was a (expletive) like Kanye West. '(Expletives) like Kanye' should be his next album title!" MTV.com said Winehouse railed from the stage at her Glastonbury appearance during the weekend.

Winehouse also said of fellow Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z, "Jay-Z's got some front to come here with tunes you don't even remember."

"She said something about Kanye late on (in her set) but I didn't hear it and I don't agree with it," Jay-Z, West's mentor, told MTV News. "He's my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-a-fella (records) right now. ... I guess I should hook them up because he's a great guy, too. I don't know what the problem is -- I don't know where that (comment) came from."

The New York Daily News said Winehouse checked back into the hospital to continue her treatment for emphysema after her Glastonbury gig.
