PESARO, Italy, June 30 (UPI) -- An agreement settling Luciano Pavarotti's estate reportedly has been reached between the Italian opera icon's widow and his three adult daughters.

Pavarotti, who died of pancreatic cancer last year at the age of 71, had one young daughter Alice with his second wife Nicoletta Mantovani and three grown daughters -- Lorenza, Cristina and Giuliana -- with his first spouse Adua Veroni.

Since Pavarotti died, Mantovani and his three daughters with Veroni reportedly have been fighting over the division of the tenor's assets, which was unclear since the singer left more than one will, as well as some debt.

The Il Resto del Carlino reported Monday, however, that the estate has been "divided equally in a manner compatible with legal parameters."

ANSA said attorney Anna Maria Bernini, Pavarotti's former lawyer and the broker of the deal, told the newspaper: "'Nicoletta Mantovani and Lorenza, Cristina and Giuliana are today linked by a true friendship. And the three sisters fully consider Alice, the maestro's fourth daughter, to be their true sister."
