The 76-year-old head of the Shubert Organization said Friday he felt "violated' when his wife, Tricia Walsh-Smith, posted videos on the popular Web site in which she detailed intimate aspects of their marriage and divorce, the New York Daily News reported.
"I felt absolutely awful, I was humiliated, I was embarrassed, I was hurt," Smith said during his Manhattan Supreme Court testimony. "I felt violated in every sense of the word."
The videos posted by Smith's 52-year-old wife drew immediate response on the video-sharing Internet locale, posting millions of views to date.
The Daily New reported that Smith, who is worth an estimated $60 million, said such vocal outbursts by his wife during their marriage helped prompt him to file for divorce last year.
"Whatever I tried to say, I was not sufficiently able to cope with the situation," Smith said. "I sort of buttoned my lip a little bit."
