NEW YORK, June 27 (UPI) -- Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has been ordered to testify in a civil lawsuit stemming from a 1999 New York shooting involving her then-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The New York Post said Lopez has been served with a subpoena notifying her she will be asked to answer questions in an upcoming deposition.
Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident at the now-shuttered Club New York, is suing Combs and his jailed associate Jamal "Shyne" Barrow for $130 million, the newspaper said.
Lopez was with Combs at the club the night gunfire broke out. Combs and Barrow were arrested on weapons violations and other charges. Lopez was not called as a witness at their criminal trial.
Combs was acquitted, but Barrow was sentenced to 10 years in jail in connection with the incident.
The Post said Lopez has never publicly discussed what she saw at the club that night.
