NEW YORK, June 22 (UPI) -- Ringo Starr says the most recent incarnation of his All-Starr Band will perform at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
The former Beatle said each incarnation of the rock band has its own personality and the one performing this week at the famed New York locale is no different, the New York Daily News reported Sunday.
"The great thing about this one is that except for Gary, they've all been in All-Starr Bands before," said the British singer, who was referring to "Dream Weaver" star Gary Wright. "So everybody knows what it's about."
Starr said in addition to All-Starr performances like the one scheduled for Tuesday night, he maintains a busy schedule.
"Well, I make a record every other year and tour every other year, so yes, I'm always playing," he told the newspaper.
While music always appears to be on the singer's mind, he was jokingly dismissive when asked about a potential spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
"In my mind, I'm there already," he joked. " No, it would be nice, but it's not something I lay awake at night thinking about."
