'Viva La Vida' tops U.S. record chart

COLDPLAY PERFORM AT THE 2006 JUNO MUSIC AWARDS IN HALIFAX

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart, Billboard.com said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week is Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl," followed by Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" featuring Static Major at No. 3, Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" at No. 4 and Rihanna's "Take a Bow" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine" at No. 6, Jordin Sparks's "No Air" featuring Chris Brown at No. 7, Brown's "Forever" at No. 8, Usher's "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy at No. 9 and Metro Station's "Shake It" at No. 10.
