NEW YORK, June 16 (UPI) -- Mark Wahlberg's former bodyguard is suing the actor for $20,000 in back pay in Manhattan Civil Court, court documents reveal.

The New York Post reported Leonard Taylor filed a lawsuit against the 37-year-old actor this month. According to court documents, Taylor claims Wahlberg owes him for four years of unpaid wages dating back to 2001.

Taylor, who is 6-foot-5 and weighs 300 pounds, previously filed a $2 million action against the actor, claiming Wahlberg had assaulted him.

The Post said Taylor eventually settled that case for $5,000.

Wahlberg, a one-time rapper who had a memorable role in the Oscar-winning film "The Departed," can now be seen in the thriller "The Happening."
