BRENTWOOD, Calif., June 14 (UPI) -- Jennifer Garner's 2-year-old daughter was temporary locked inside a car in Brentwood, Calif., after a mishap with the vehicle's key, news media says.

The Daily Mail reported Friday the "Alias" star locked her daughter Violet inside her Lexus unaware the child was holding the only key to the automobile in her hand.

The 36-year-old actress eventually was able to instruct the young child how to unlock the door and end the parental emergency at the Brentwood Country Mart.

When asked if she is considering having another child, the relieved mother told the Daily Mail that "sometime" in the future she may add to her family.

"Sometime. I don't know," she said. "I have to think about that one."

Garner is filming "This Side of Truth" with director Ricky Gervais, who created the British TV series "The Office," and is set to star in the romantic comedy "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past."
