LONDON, June 10 (UPI) -- Michael Madsen reportedly was involved in a disturbance inside London's posh Dorchester Hotel but the Hollywood actor was not arrested.

Police were called after a guest complained he or she heard screaming coming from the room of the "Reservoir Dogs" and "Kill Bill" star, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The authorities arrived to find Madsen covered in cuts and bruises and an ambulance was called, the British newspaper said.

Madsen was in London working on "The Big I Am," and had finished filming last week. He checked into the hotel during the weekend with people believed to be his family. The actor has been married to Deanna Morgan since 1996 and is the father of five children.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told the Telegraph no arrests were made following an

incident at the Dorchester and no further action would be taken.

"We are aware there was an incident in London but we have no comment to make," Madsen's representative told the Telegraph.
