Stiller, Witherspoon cast in Crowe film

LOS ANGELES, June 9 (UPI) -- Hollywood actors Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon have signed on to star in an untitled comedy adventure penned by Cameron Crowe.

Crowe's films include "Say Anything," "Jerry Maguire," "Almost Famous," "Vanilla Sky" and "Elizabethtown."

Variety.com said Crowe will also produce the Stiller-Witherspoon movie, the details of which are being kept under wraps.

Production on the film is scheduled to begin in January, the entertainment industry trade paper said.

Stiller will next be seen in the comedy "Tropic Thunder," while Witherspoon recently wrapped the holiday-themed movie "Four Christmases."
