LONDON, June 9 (UPI) -- Madonna has decided against showing her documentary "I Am Because We Are" at the Glastonbury performing arts festival in England, a source said.

The film is about the hardships suffered by Malawian children, Variety.com said.

"Madonna hoped the film could be shown on the Saturday and there was talk of a question and answer session," a source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper. "But poor ticket sales for the festival put her off. After talks with organizers it was decided the festival was not the right venue to showcase the film."

Madonna's adoption of a Malawian boy named David was recently finalized.
