LOS ANGELES, June 8 (UPI) -- Two new movies, "Kung Fu Panda" and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan," broke out 1-2 in U.S. theaters this weekend, estimated sales figures showed Sunday.

The animated feature "Kung Fu Panda," with Jack Black providing the key voice talent, raked in $60 million in its first weekend to grab the No. 1 spot, Box Office Mojo reported. "Zohan," starring Adam Sandler, tallied an estimated $40 million for No. 2.

"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" moved down to third with $22.81 million in estimated gate receipts, while last week's top-grossing film, "Sex and the City," fell all the way to fourth at $21.31 million and "The Strangers" was fifth at $9.29 million.

Filling out the Top 10 were "Iron Man," $7.52 million; "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," $5.53 million; "What Happens in Vegas," $3.4 million; "Baby Mama," $779,000; and "Made of Honor," $503,000.

Booted out of the top tier were "Speed Racer" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
