LOS ANGELES, June 6 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor John Stamos is set to star in and produce the television movie, "Killing Mr. Kissel," Lifetime Networks announced Friday.

Based on a true story, "Killing Mr. Kissel" is about "two multimillionaire brothers who both married the women of their dreams and wound up dead," the network said.

It is scheduled to premiere this November on Lifetime Television.

"People are fascinated by the private lives of the rich and there is a part of all of us that wants to have the lifestyle that money brings," Tanya Lopez, senior vice president of original movies for Lifetime Networks, said in a statement . "While entertaining, this story -- about one family's quest for the American dream that spiraled out of control -- also reminds us to 'be careful what you wish for.'"

The movie co-stars Gretchen Egolf, Anson Mount and Robin Tunney.
