Several online posts said the 22-year-old "High School Musical" star may have contracted the disease through a rhinoplasty procedure last year, People.com reported.
In response to the reports, some fans have posted YouTube videos to "Pray for Ashley."
One Web site posted what it claimed was a statement from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Cedars-Sinai representative Simi Singer assured People.com, "We absolutely did not issue a release."
Tisdale spokesman Scott Appel told the magazine the reports are "completely untrue."
