LONDON, June 4 (UPI) -- British singer Lily Allen said on her MySpace page that she feels awful about her drunken behavior at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London.
People.com said the 23-year-old singer, songwriter and chat-show host, who sported hot pink hair for the event, expressed on her MySpace page remorse that she was so drunk at the awards presentation her younger brother, Alfie, had to help her home.
"Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honor and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behavior was embarrassing," Allen wrote, referring to being criticized for appearing topless in photos. "This time I'm putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk."
People.com said Allen went on to confess she feels "awful" for getting smashed at the party, in which she had been honored with the editor's special prize for her multi-dimensionial career.
"Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this, not pretty!," Allen wrote. "Was quite fun though, from what I can remember."
