A judge said he would re-examine the killing of Victor Jara and look at 40 new pieces of evidence, La Nacion newspaper reported Wednesday.
Jara was killed at the Santiago National Stadium in 1973, during the early days of the dictatorship of Gen. Augusto Pinochet.
More than 3,000 people were killed or disappeared during Pinochet's 17-year rule from 1973 to 1990.
