NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- Singer and "Dancing with the Stars" winner Drew Lachey is to join the cast of "Monty Python's Spamalot," representatives for the Broadway musical said Monday.

Former "7th Heaven" patriarch Stephen Collins also has signed on to star in the Tony Award-winning show.

Lachey and Collins will play royal manservant Patsy and King Arthur, respectively, in the medieval-themed musical based on the big-screen comedy classic "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."

The pair are to join the Broadway production June 24.
