LONDON, May 30 (UPI) -- British soul singer Amy Winehouse has joined the lineup of performers for Nelson Mandela's upcoming 90th birthday bash in London's Hyde Park, organizers said.

Winehouse's representative told People.com the singer is "proud" and "honored" to perform at The 46664 Concert, which is to double as a birthday celebration and event to raise awareness about AIDS. The number 46664 refers to the way Mandela was identified when he was imprisoned on South Africa's Robben Island and is also the name of a series of charity concerts he has helped organize.

Tim Massey, 46664's international director, said in a statement: "We are delighted that Amy will be appearing at Hyde Park to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday. Amy joins an illustrious list of names showing their support for 46664 and the fight against AIDS."

The June 27 event is also to feature appearances by Leona Lewis, Annie Lennox, Dame Shirley Bassey, Razorlight and more than a dozen South African musicians, People.com said.

The guest list for the event includes Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Robert DeNiro and Forest Whitaker, the entertainment news Web site said.
