LOS ANGELES, May 30 (UPI) -- U.S. music producer Jaymes Foster has conceived a child with singer Clay Aiken via artificial insemination, a representative for Foster's brother confirmed.

E! Online said a spokesman for music mogul David Foster confirmed the story first reported by TMZ.com Thursday.

Jaymes Foster, who has worked with Aiken on several albums, is due to give birth in August, E! Online said.

"She looks great, glowing and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time," the representative told "The Insider" entertainment news program.

E! Online said there was no immediate comment from Aiken's representatives.

Aiken's sexual orientation has been the topic of much speculation since he rose to fame on the U.S. singing competition show "American Idol."
