Smith, Cruise to present MTV Movie Awards

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 29 (UPI) -- Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Rainn Wilson and Anna Faris are to present awards at the "2008 MTV Movie Awards" show in California, MTV said.

The presentation is to air live on MTV Sunday from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City.

Cruise, Smith, Theron, Wilson and Faris join previously revealed presenters Ben Stiller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Ferrell, Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Liv Tyler, Seth Rogen, Megan Fox, Edward Norton, Jennifer Hudson, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rumer Willis, Emma Stone, Brendan Fraser, Katharine McPhee and Danny McBride.

In addition, Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls are to take the stage to debut new music in live performances, MTV said.

Mike Myers is the event's host.
