CLEVELAND, May 29 (UPI) -- An Ohio coroner has ruled that R&B singer Sean Levert died of natural causes at the age of 39 after collapsing in the Cuyahoga County Jail.

The former member of the singing trio LeVert collapsed while in restraints in the Cleveland correctional facility in March. He was taken to a hospital and died shortly after.

Levert, who was the son of O'Jays singer Eddie Levert and the brother of late R&B icon Gerald Levert, was serving a jail sentence for failing to pay child support.

TMZ.com said the coroner's report indicates no foul play or trauma was involved in Sean Levert's death and that he died of natural causes.

Levert suffered from heart disease and high blood sugar, among other ailments, the TMZ.com report said.
