NEW YORK, May 28 (UPI) -- Dozens of costumes from the recently wrapped U.S. mob drama "The Sopranos" reportedly are heading to the auction block to raise money for charity.

The clothes are to be sold next month as part of Christie's Pop Culture auction in New York. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps servicemen injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, the New York Daily News said.

Among the items to be sold are the shirt Tony Soprano wore when he was shot by Uncle Junior; Tony's tan cotton bathrobe with an "S" embroidered on the breast pocket; the blue short-sleeve shirt Tony wears in the show's opening credits as he drives through New Jersey; and a black leather jacket he donned in several episodes, including the one in which he shot his cousin Tony Blundetto.

The Daily News said two of the costumes even have fake bloodstains.

Actor James Gandolfini, who played New Jersey mob boss Tony on the HBO series, donated the clothes to be auctioned.

Christie's also will be selling Phil Leotardo's cashmere coat, Paulie Walnuts' black track suit, Uncle Junior's tan cap and Christopher Moltisanti's pinstripe suit, the newspaper said.
