LAS VEGAS, May 24 (UPI) -- The funk group, The Time, is extending its run of reunion performances in Las Vegas after 15 years apart, Billboard reports.

The music magazine said Friday that Time members Morris Day, Jerome Benton, Jellybean Johnson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Monte Moir and Jesse Johnson will now perform 15 shows together at the Flamingo Las Vegas between June 24 and Aug. 2.

After spending 15 years apart, all of the band's surviving members gathered for the 50th Grammy awards ceremony in February.

Billboard said the band's performance during the awards ceremony included Time hits "Jungle Love" and "Don't Stop the Music", along with a rendition of singer Rihanna's hit "Umbrella."

The band followed up that reunion performance by joining the singer Prince, who the band previously collaborated with during the 1980s, for a performance at the ninth annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.
