Report: Steven Tyler checks into rehab

PASADENA, Calif., May 21 (UPI) -- U.S. rocker Steven Tyler has checked himself into a rehab facility where he is undergoing treatment for substance abuse, TMZ.com said Wednesday.

The 60-year-old Aerosmith frontman, who is also actress Liv Tyler's father, reportedly checked into the Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic in California, the same facility where the reality series "Celebrity Rehab" was shot.

Tyler's representatives offered no comment when contacted by TMZ.com.
