TAMPA, Fla., May 18 (UPI) -- The general manager of WTVT-Ch. 13 in Tampa, Fla., faces criminal charges after allegedly masturbating in an adult video store, police say.

Robert W. Linger, 49, allegedly joined five other men in a masturbatory session Friday inside Fantasy Land Adult Video Store's movie theater last week, The St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times said Sunday.

The head of the Fox affiliate has been charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and faces an additional charge of exposure of a sexual organ, police said.

The Fox 13 News Web site said the TV station is "aware of the matter and is currently reviewing it."

A Fantasy Land employee said the entry way to the theater sports a sign saying "no sexual acts allowed beyond this point," since the room is considered a public place.

Records show that Linger was released on $750 bail Saturday, the Times reported.

The newspaper said Fantasy Land was previously the site of a prostitution sting in 2002, when 14 people were arrested on various related charges at the adult video site.
